Who is Jack? I'm an ordinary guy, living in an ordinary world. I live in a large town in England called Bristol. It's not the most glamorous of places, but it does the job well. It’s famous for being one of the only major ports of England, and is host to an array of celeb-status things (S.S. Great Britain, Concorde, and the Clifton suspension bridge to name a few). 

I’m a qualified IT Practitioner and Software Engineer.  Went to Filton College to do a BTEC in IT and Software Design, then went on to Plymouth University to do Software Engineering from, and based at, Bristol College, and now I'm on a course for teaching and games design hoping to work somewhere between the two fields (since games are my passion) and I like teaching.

I spend quite a bit of my free time at the computer, either playing games, working on them, browsing the web or working on this website.  I play quite a few games, DarkSpace, World of Warcraft, and EVE-Online most notoriously.  I'm a staff member of PaleStar (company of which owns DarkSpace), and am both a developer for the game, and moderator for it's game lobby and system.  It's very rewarding work, and hopefully, the game will flourish into something which has more than a cult following (at present).
